OVERVIEW

As AI technology rapidly evolves, we face the challenge of efficiently utilizing it to assist users in solving problems quickly and integrating it into our daily lives. Our institute develops intelligent human-computer interaction technologies, integrating AI speech, text, and generative AI technologies to create smart customer service chatbots. These chatbots provide intelligent Q&A services through channels such as telephone, web, and social media, effectively solving user problems and enhancing customer satisfaction. Additionally, we are developing intelligent collaboration applications to improve work efficiency.

APPLICATION STATUS

Intelligent Customer Service Chatbot:This multi-turn dialogue chatbot is built using AI-powered question-answering and knowledge management technologies, which can provide quick response services to customers through multiple channels. It reduces customer waiting time and improves the efficiency of customer service agents. These online chatbots, IVR call-steering chatbots, and outbound chatbots have been applied in Chunghwa Telecom customer service and many external projects. This technology won the Best Product Award of the 19th National Brand Yushan Awards, the TCCDA-CSEA Best Intelligent Customer Service System Application and other awards from 2019 to 2023, and the 2022~2023/2020 Patent Gold/Silver Award of the Taiwan Innovative Technology Exhibition.
Intelligent Collaboration Applications: We integrate voice recognition, natural language understanding, speech synthesis, and generative AI technologies to develop a smart home security assistant that provides alerts for image and sound event detections. Additionally, we are developing an SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) software engineering documentation assistant to boost work efficiency. We also develop SMS/phone content fraud detection to ensure the safety of the public's life and property.
