The global telecommunications industry is accelerating toward a new era of "Network as a Service (NaaS)", with the GSMA-led Open Gateway initiative becoming the dominant trend. As 5G applications evolve, encapsulating telecom operators' network capabilities into globally standardized, universal APIs, transforming telecom networks from simply providing transmission networks into standardized, open platform services, is an inevitable direction for industry development.

However, significant integration challenges remain in the current market. In the financial industry, For example, in the financial industry, accessing capabilities such as identity verification, device information, or location verification often requires separate technical integration and testing with each telecom operator This complex process drives up development and maintenance costs, resulting in high development costs, low integration efficiency, limited cross-domain application adoption, and further hindering the progress of 5G information openness. Application Status

5G Open Gateway Platform:We have independently developed a 5G information open platform that assists banks, financial institutions, and government agencies in querying telecommunications data through the GSMA/CAMARA API standardized interface, concretely implementing identity verification and risk management. Related achievements have been put into practical cooperation with multiple operators for cross-system service integration and scenario verification and have also been showcased at various digital finance and ICT seminars, not only verifying the technical feasibility and commercial deployment capabilities, but also concretely demonstrating Chunghwa Telecom's leadership in 5G network exposure.
OAuth2.0 Three-legged Authentication: The platform architecture design fully complies with international cybersecurity standards and adopts the OAuth 2.0 three-legged authorization mechanism. Through the separation of permissions and token verification mechanisms between users, service providers and resource servers, it ensures that data privacy protection, the principle of minimal access and security control can be considered during the process of open API interface.
5G Telecom Data Processing: By collecting and analyzing key signaling and traffic data between core network elements, a real-time data analysis and processing flow is established to transform underlying telecommunications network information into high-value data that can be queried and applied, providing information that balances accuracy and timeliness for open platforms to query and use.
