Overview

To cope with the advanced 5G generation of interconnection of all things and digital convergence, as well as user demands for large bandwidth, low latency, and massive connections, Telecom operators have to continuously invest resources in order to meet various innovative service requirements. During this continuous journey of resources investment, the urgent task for telecom operator is how to provide 5G compelling services making good use of fixed network resources to reduce network construction costs effectively and gain the maximum benefits.

In order to achieve the goal of Fixed-Mobile convergence, TL actively promotes the integration of fixed and mobile networks, the co-location of the telecommunication facilities and enterprise 5G high-speed multi-service intelligent networking technology. The missions are to construct a consolidated transport network, optimize the usage of network resources, meet the needs of enterprise customers, and promote new business opportunities.

Application Status

The new-era Segment Routing Technology：Incorporated in mobile backhaul network and Aggregation network to transmit 5G services
The Interoperability Validation techniques for multi-vender routers：Validating the functional interoperability among multi-vendor aggregation routers which have been deployed in the field to transmit 5G services and achieve an integrated open-architecture network.
The Network Slicing technology：Constructing isolated logical network slices on a shared physical network to cope with the demands of emerging 5G network slicing services.
The technology of diverse network connectivity for Enterprise：Providing for enterprises to access applications and services anytime, anywhere with diverse devices via fixed network, mobile network or Wi-Fi.
Multi-service and intelligent connectivity of 5G FWA (Fixed Wireless Access) technology：Deploying 5G FWA technology to provide broadband and multi-media services in the areas where fibers have not deployed yet and thus reduce the network construction costs.
