ENTERPRISE INFORMATION AND COMMUNICATION CROSS-DOMAIN QUALITY ASSURANCE

Overview

According to the 2023 Hype Cycle for CSP Operations report, enterprises' demand for digital transformation has created various business opportunities for CSPs. For example, the IT technology, information security, cloud services, infrastructure, and IoT-related services required by enterprises will gradually require comprehensive planning by CSPs. It will be leased in the form of hosted services. Therefore, CSP operators need to develop an ESMP (Enterprise Service Management Platform) or B2B service platform, which is a centralized service management platform that enables enterprise customers to integrate and control the operational status of various services or resources. This platform provides features such as manageability, monitoring, and control to meet the autonomous operational requirements of enterprises, including flexible network resource allocation, business changes, user provisioning, and network monitoring.

As a telecom operator and cloud service provider, we provide various services, such as VPN, broadband, public cloud, private 5G service, etc. Customers managed the services and evaluated the performance metrics for different types of services by accessing multiple monitoring platforms in the past. With this in mind, we have implemented the "Enterprise Information and Communication Cross-Domain Service Management Platform" based on the customer-centric concept. It is a one-stop platform that enterprises can quickly grasp and improve IT operation efficiency through a single portal to enhance customer satisfaction and engagement. We also leverage our network management experience to operate ICT services and expand business opportunities related to managed services.

Following TM Forum international standards, we develop private 5G network integrated operation and management technology, enterprise one management service quality assurance technology, and enterprise ICT infrastructure physical and virtual resources integrated monitoring technology to provide integrated management and control of end-to-end cross-domain resources including private 5G network, wide area network, public/private cloud, physical and virtual resources, as well as application software. In addition to a single-entry site that helps users stay on top of cross-domain monitoring information, the achievements include several types of visual reports and graphical topology maps to visually manage the operational status of resources, whether physical or virtual. Further, real-time event notifications and performance degradation warnings can be performed for various resources to help solve problems and ensure the quality of ICT services.

Application Status

Enterprise private 5G network integrated operation and maintenance technology:Provide enterprise customers with visualization and a single point of entry, enabling them to independently monitor the operational status and quality of the private network, including monitoring of multi-access edge computing (MEC) infrastructure (including in-house and commercial MEC solutions), analysis of private network offloading and external (Internet) traffic, offloading rule settings, and other network maintenance functions. This enhances the competitiveness of private network products and is actively applied in domestic and international 5G enterprise network scenarios.
Enterprise Zero-X Autonomous Network Control Technology: According to the TM Forum report, next-generation OSS must have automation and intelligence capabilities, with autonomous networks at the core of intelligent network management. Referring to the TM Forum's Autonomous Networks White Paper, the R&D team has been planning and implementing autonomous network control technologies in 5G enterprise networks. They expect to develop four key autonomous control technologies, called Self-CHOP, including Self-Configuration, Self-Healing, Self-Optimization, and Self-Protection, to improve the operational efficiency of enterprise networks and reduce maintenance costs. The aim is to provide customers with a Zero X (Zero Wait, Zero Touch, Zero Trouble) network experience. The team is trying to incorporate agile design methods (design sprint) and new product development management methods (NPDP) to package this technology into an innovative SELF-X solution from 0 to 1. They participated in the company's 2023 Innovation and Creativity Competition and won third place.
Enterprise One Management Service Quality Assurance: As the largest MSP for information and communication services in Taiwan, our MSP One Management Solution continues to expand monitoring areas, such as integrating AWS cloud and IDC/Landing service, improving five key services such as IPLC services and SD-WAN solutions (e.g., VeloCloud and Meraki), and supporting the management of new broadband services, such as HiNet network detection and response, HiNet eNOC and Wi-Fi 6/Mesh AP.
Enterprise ICT Infrastructure integrated monitoring technology for physical and virtual resources:Package carrier-grade network management expertise into technical consulting services, turning network management experience into intellectual property. This includes enhancing core functionalities such as the "Distributed Log Collection and Analysis Module," "Asynchronous Device Configuration Rule Distribution Module," and "Asymmetric Bandwidth Management Module." These are applied to common ICT infrastructure virtual and physical resources and network quality assurance in enterprise scenarios. Internally, it has been integrated into the company's centralized monitoring system for the entire region, managing over 200 critical information systems. Externally, it has been promoted to 10 benchmark scenarios, including internal operations and finance departments.
